I think I did my first trackday in 1999? It was a Tony's trackday..$125 for the day. Been to 5 or six of his, 3 of the team damon trackdays, and the first NESR double trackday at VIR. Oh yeah and 2 full seasons of LRRS racing...then I ran out of money

I did the Penguin October 2004 and got my race license. I've been in only 3 races since, but I just hooked up a dedicated track bike, so more to come. I agree, It is like crack. Especially once you have been at race speed, draggin' a knee on the bowl of turn 6 with some guys muffler bumping your shoulder as he runs a little wide. Now Tony's track days won't allow me there. :-(

I'm assuming you mean b/c you have your race license. Have you talked to Tony? There are a number of us that run with them...some on a very regular basis. As long as you can separate trackday from race, and abide by his passing rules you should be just fine

soon - the GSXR 600 goes into the shop on the 8th for some 'im gonna fix what some fuck up fucked up' love, so i should be able to have that to scoot around on hopefully by the 15th - though im carousing the interweb for a decently priced 03-05 CBR 600 that i can add to the stable - my guess is ill have it by the end of the winter

Too bad mine just sold. I may know of a couple for sale though. How much do you want to spend? Track duty only?

good deal. dont want to spend more than 4 or 5 grand (i figure if i wait it out till the winter ill be able to spend more - im just a sucker for a good vacation)

it'll be for street only til i get a decent amount of miles under my belt then ill take it to the track

As mentioned above, you would still be welcome at our events. Read our website carefully and it discusses what types of racers are allowed.

However, if you're looking to have a muffler bumping your shoulder, we'll have to take care of that in TECH INSPECTION.
