"local" tracksNESBA runs a bunch of track days at VIR. NESBA : Northeast Sports Bike Association You should be aware that VIR can be configured 5 different ways. North, South, Full, Grand and Patriot. My favorite is North and least favorite is Patriot. VIR also has awsome facilities. You can rent a 'Suite' with a garage right on the front straight. Awesome. Your original question is 'local tracks opened year round' or something like that! Living where we live you either have to stretch your definition of 'local' or agree that 'year round' doesnt include winter! Barber and Road Atlanta are probably the closest tracks that could be considered year round and NESBA does days there too. Summit Point and VIR have extended seasons compared to NHIS. There is supposed to be a new, world class facility, opening in NJ and I think there is another one being built in PA. |
