Anyone interested in doing this next year? They only have the schedule up through this year and its too soon for me to try to get time off, but I am very very interested in doing this next year. I think it would help me a lot in improving my track riding/maybe being less of a pussy.

Welcome to Cornerspeed

holy crap, that looks awesome!

As long as crashing isn't mandatory, I'd be interested. I've retired from crashing.

Degsy, NESR Track Day Road Trip? Work yer mojo?

Well if we actually can get some people to commit, then I will coordinate this so that Degsy doesn't have to deal with all the bullshit again like normal. I think we will wait until it gets a bit closer to the end of the year to see if people will actually commit.

Well count me in as a yes for sure. Ill probably just rent the bike from them and fly down though to avoid the travel time. Leave friday afternoon night come back sunday evening / night. There are a lot of flights to that area that are pretty cheap from what my sister tells me.

how cold does it get down there in jan and feb?
if its warm enough, it would be great to go ride down there while its snow cover up here.

I'm like 90% sure I'm in and like the hamma plan!

Awesome. I'll introduce you to Cole from Mid Atlantic Ducati and Aaron when we are at VIR and we can take it from there. Maybe tack it onto the beginning of the April Double-header trackdays for 2008?

Yes you can get flights for fairly cheap from both Manchester and Boston. Manchester has nightly non stop flights to Charlotte for around 300 round trip and I get free upgrades to first class on US Airways :sweet:

I am hoping maybe they have some sort of weekend Cornerspin and then maybe a Tuesday Wednesday track day so I have a day to rest up in between - I would love to do this and then get to ride VIR for 2 days.

I'll be happy to talk with Arron and Cole and start things up - I e-mailed a cornerspeed a little while ago.

Per Arron:
Quote:
Hi Mike;

You get 6-8 students and we'll arrange a weekend for you. Not a problem. We've done that 3 times this year.
I'll be back from the GNF's this weekend. Be happy to speak with you and arrange something.
All my best,
Aaron

I've been looking at Cornerspeed.

That's why I was asking about the trailer actually. Mom lives in Clarksville. I did not know VIR was so close to her.

Hi Mom!

Well I will be talking to Arron on Monday or Tuesday and see what he says.

If we can get people to commit, I will arrange everything as needed.

I can probably get us a Deal on the Hampton Inn down the road as I'm a Diamond Member for Hilton.

I will not be fronting money for folks, so once I get this set up, until I get money you aren't on the list!

This spring will probably be too soon for me, especially when i'm goin back under the knife during the winter to get the hardware taken out.
