Rarely is the instructor on par with what may or may not work. (Selling to the public)
Unless your prof is a genius, most of them are too busy in the book, cramming for "more knowledge" and less in tune with what the public wants.........Or maybe coasting through U of "tier 3" school instead on teaching theory at M.I.T.
Remember, the public may NOT know what's best for them and may want a VHS tape vs the superior Beta tape............
Be true to your beliefs. And remember: MARKETING is the answer to your quest to sell you invention.

Watch, I'm currently working on one of these bike/car things which I plan to patent. No details for OBVIOUS reasons. PBT is the ackronym. And If it goes, you'll all get free one's...........
