Craziest lie you have ever heard about bikes

What is the craziest lie you have ever heard about a Motorcycle or motorcycle experience?

Mine was at the rochester fair a few years back when a guy was looking at a new CR500.. he proceeded to tell about his buddy who had one that was "souped up" and could do 200 mph on dirt and that was no BS.. it did 200 MPH. And he rode it while it did 200 mph..

I asked him how that was possible and he looked at me like I was the idiot and said .."cause it was souped up!"

So what is your favorite BS story you have heard from some brain dead redneck who thinks they can ride or wants to ride.

Craziest lie you have ever heard about bikes

this local up in Middlebury VT this weekend, gave us some good pointers on roads, but was telling us how he went through 8 motors on his tls that he rides up through 17 at 120 mph all the time coming out of the corners on one wheel and setting it down just in time to steer through the next turn.

i got a kick out of it. i didn't see Duhammel or Hayden on his back but he had a bit of that crazy look in his eye... it might have been just a slight stretch of the truth ... not a total lie.

Craziest lie you have ever heard about bikes

A former friend of mine (the guy turned into a fucktard later on) purchased a 99 CBR 600 F4, wrecked. The guy he bought it from told him that it went into a "tank slapper" while he was doing a wheelie, and when he put the bike down he hit a telephone pole.

Dosen't your front tire have to actually be touching the ground for a tank slapper???

The funny thing was, this fucktard kept telling people that story...

I ran into this super squid that told me his r6 did 197mph...

and when he lived in AZ he would ride around high from Meth and have a semi-autmatic rifle strapped to his back..and would shoot it into the air...

this isn't really a bs story but I thought that it fits in with the dumbasses... I get a lot of people, ok - punk fukkers in ricers, that put their hand out the window and flip their wrists to get me to do a wheelie. Well, the last race weekend that I was at on my way down I was movng along with my left hand on my side sitting up to strech my back and this kid puts his hand out telling me to "lift it". No biggie right? I was in the center of a village (25 mph that I obey in the villages) with my full tankbag, packed saddles and an oversized tent on the back - all very very visable.. Even if I knew how to wheelie who the hell would tell someone loaded with gear to "lift it"

My names Will...and I hate ricers.

Craziest lie you have ever heard about bikes

Too many BS stories to count... I think my favorite one was one squid by revere beach who claimed he could take the Revere rotary at 100 MPH. Mainly because being morbidly curious I actually got to see this moron proved wrong...

Now seeing as how this is one of my favorite places to go lean the bike over if I really need a quick fix, I am pretty accustomed to how fast I can take that rotary on my bike, not sure at what speed, but gotta be less than 2/3 of 100 MPH, and prolly closer to 1/2 100MPH, especially given the pavement surface in places. So, being loud and obnoxious, a friend of mine said "oh yeah, lets see it!". Being that a quick look at his rear tires confirmed he had never seen more than 100MPH on anything even resembling a rotary, we were curious as to what stupidity we were about to witness. So we followed this punk to the rotary. It was late at night so the rotary was relatively empty, and this kid was approachin the rotary on his bran spandy new R1 at something close to 80 mph with no sign of braking (not entirely all out nuts given the stopping power of that bike, but not entirely sane either). At the last second he grabbed a big ol fistful of the front brakes, locking up the front end on the sandy entrance. Apparently having the piss scared out of him, he let go of the front brakes, bike goes into a hard wobble and the kid goes careening into the rotary... barely missing the center. By some stroke of moronic luck he managed to stabilize the bike and grandma it at 15 mph through the rest of the rotary and back to the beach.

When we got there, my buddy was laughing so hard tears were coming down his face when he took his helmet off, and this kid had LITERALLY pissed himself. And he still had the balls to say "Something was messed up with my bike, but I did it yesterday".... Yeah buddy, sure

I love all the people that claim they can do 200MPH on a bike, but that claim has become so common that I don't even include it...

Craziest lie you have ever heard about bikes

An old boss of mine used to say he raced a ZX6 Ninja around a corner on his Hardley Ableson and beat the pants off the kid.

His reasoning was simple:

The sportbikes are too light and "bounce" right off the corner.

I proceded to offer to race him on ANY road with my non-idling smoking to all hell 1982 CB750F that you see to my right. He declined.

I know one guy who says that his 1995 Kawasaki Ninja 600R (yeah, the cheap one) was makin 140 rear wheel horse because of the pipe and jet kit he put on it. Yeah....right buddy....

I remember there was this one loser on some internet messageboard who would always talk about doing 160 MPH in some highly populated area while wearing shorts, t-shirt, and sandals and listening to an ipod.

Actually, I think he did it over a really long bridge with few cars and nothing but ocean on each side...

Regardless, what an obnoxious asshole...

It's punk squids like that, that ruin it for the rest of us.

People like that should get their asses kicked.
