and it can't come too soon... in a couple weeks the two security accounts in my building are merging into one (same security company, just two accounts, one for the building managment company, one for the tennant (State Street Bank/Financial wudever))

so pretty soon State Street is gonna be paying my paycheck... should be gettin a 15% pay raise

between my offing at VIR, the fuckin piece of glass in my tire, riding season, Boston rent, and the never-ending search for a woman to keep me happy, it'll be a VERY welcome change

only downside is my awesomely cool supervisor is gettin transferred, which means i'm gonna be working for this complete DICKHEAD.... no more double-long 90 minute breaks & various other activities that he'd LOVE to write me up over... oh well, it was good while it lasted... and the raise should be worth the BS

Usually that's the case, yeah.... but w/ Security, it's a little different. Guards still have to be present & the post i work is required to be manned 24 hours a day, 21 8hr shifts a week, 356 days a year (Christmas, New Years, you name it). because of that the post isn't gonna disappear & i'm one of less than 10 people at that building that are already trained for that post.

I dunno, maybe i'll get canned, but i'm pretty confident that i'm in the clear
