That sucks, man. In most parts of the city they have signs everywhere that clearly state when street cleaning is going to be. They shouldn't be able to tow without putting up those signs.

this has me so fuckin bullshit pissed. I parked my car there Sunday night.... didn't see a single fuckin sign, there never has been any posted. been parkin on that street forever.... when i talked to the State Police she said there was notification two days ahead of time..... well i parked there three days before, so wtf good does that do for me? Then my roommate parked there Mon or Tues night, he didn't see shit either.

what really fuckin blows is he's gonna go get his car today and i can't get it till tomorrow, so that's gonna cost me another 20 bucks for a total of 150.... THEN THE TICKET.

on top of that, i have to figure out a way to get to the real estate company to pay my FUCKING RENT today or tomorrow.... AND order new tires for my bike so i can make the Track Day i JUST FUCKIN PAID for yesterday.

*way too fucking stressed w/ little bullshit to deal w/ this big bullshit

That does suck, sorry to hear about your misfortunes.

The more I learn about Boston, the less I think it's worth the hassle.

Is bike parking ever a problem?

Screw the big cities, at least to live in. It's fun when you want to go out, shopping, dine, etc. but to live and work there, I'm not sure it's worth all the troubles. Traffic, parking (and expensive at that...), noise, pollution, crowds, etc...I want to go home someday to a nice, quiet heaven. Where I can go outside and breath fresh air and only hear the sound of nature.

did my fingers stutter when i said i had my car parked there three days before, and i just checked on it today? I drive my car only on the weekends when i need to get out of the city, go grocery shopping, or do some other miscilaneous errand. i take the subway to work 5 times a week.

it'd help if my bike was on the road.

trust me, i'm not as dumb as you look.... i've looked at all the angles.

bottom line is, i've parked my car where i got towed from for the last 5 months & haven't had a problem unless i was actually illegally parked. This is the first time this kinda bullshit has come around.

I have a lawyer buddy of mine looking into the lawbooks to figure out what kinda notice is required to be posted

ok, i'm gonna pull a Kahm right now... WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS THINK I'M ANGRY? I'M NOT ANGRY! I'M MISUNDERSTOOD!!! jk bro.

I got skrewed cuz the city of Boston didn't give proper notice of street cleaning.... go anywhere else in the city & you'll see signs telling when & where it's gonna happen. this is why the guy i work with is lookin into it for me

another thing that ticks me off is that they cleaned the street out in front of my appartment a few weeks ago & didn't tow a single car that was left... just ticketed them ... we'll see what happens. i'm about to head to the ghetto w/ my credit card to retrieve my car before they charge me another 20 bucks. lets hope i come back in one piece

It would also help if you had a chick to pick up so that you could follow tip #4 By the way, your mother, sister, cousin and grandmother don't count Though since you did say that you are part canadian, your second cousin and step-sister would technically count
