Got the news yesterday afternoon that a good friend had passed. Funny how life throws shit atchya like that. Doesn't matter how, doesn't matter why. It just matters...

I know peeps say all the time how the deceased loved to laugh, blah-blah-blah. But this guy would make ya laugh just by laughing, which he did constantly...

Admittedly, we had grown apart a bit after our move up north. But we still kept in touch, and he still managed to show up on my doorstep outta the blue occasionally. He never missed an opportunity to give us a call to wish us a happy holiday or birthday...

I write this because I didn't want last night to be the last time I say goodbye to him. So I say to you now, Nick my friend, goodbye. You honestly have no idea how much you'll be missed...

To Nick/Nicky/Nicky The Fish/Nuclear Nick/Nicky No Neck/Nickolai, we love ya and we miss ya. How much, you'll never know...

Thanks, Kim. I appreciate it. But I didn't put that here for condolences or sympathy or anything like that. Just to say goodbye, and to remind people just how abruptly life can change. Tell a friend you're glad to see 'em, 'cuz it TOTALLY FUCKIN' SUCKS to not be able to anymore...
