Yes our house is a money pit. But I think all houses are money pits.

Sucks having the taste we have..I think I will need to get a second job to afford everything we want.

Atleast our house isn't the house in the movie Money pit..could you imagine

I'm right there with ya...

I am going through my upstairs room by room and starting over (gutting to the studs in some cases) because of a crummy drywall job. The last one was the master bathroom. I should have been a plumber.

Best advice - Learn how to do it yourself, or have friends that already know, and make sure the beer fridge is stocked at all times....

MONEY PIT!!

Bought my house new 2 years ago.

20,000 in landscaping
10,000 in the deck.
12,000 in the fencing
2,000 for the shed
5,000 for front walk way
2,000 for back patio
2,500 in retaining walls
1,000 for gutters
3,500 for driveway.

Shit adds up quick and thats only what we did the outside in the last 2 years.

Inside is another story.

I keep telling my self I'm increasing the value of the house. But most of the work is done solely on how we want our living to look.
It was true in 2 years the house value went through the roof. Over 130,000.

Yea they are money pits!!!! but have good returns as well.
