MS Paint is a wonderful thing... just open the pic w/ MS Paint, select the whole image & resize it till it's less than 600x600 and then you can attach it in a post... you can only attach one pic in a post though.

If MS Paint can't open the file or resize it try this.. It's a little advanced but a good tool..

Go to www.photobucket.com and upload your pics on there. THey will resize them for you automatically, and then when you post a link to the picture page here, it will show the pics in the album you choose all in one message, and it save bandwith (spelling??) space for NESR.

But I don't embed them in the post. I use the "img" tags.

woo hoo, OreoGaborio you the man. hey virgin rider to do it you go into paint and open the appropriate file you want to post, than go to image, stretch/skew. shrink it down to a lower percentage. than go to attributes and it will tell you how many pixels it is. if its still too many go back to stretch/skew and shrink it more. good luck

..or teh short way, go into paint, open your picture, "ctrl" and the letter "w" at the same time, then lower the percentages!

Before you guys go and hog up all the server space please do this....

Get an account @
www.photobucket.com

It is real easy to download pictures and creat albums.

When you get the picture loaded go to the specific album where the pic you want displayed on the NESR board.

Do not open specific files, leave the display open so you can see multiple pics at once.

Now one at a time find the pictures you want to post up on NESR.
right click on the bottom line of text you see below the pic you want. Right click and select copy.
Then have a second browser open to a reply or new topic on NESR.
With in the message view box "right Click" and "Paste"
You will only see the link address for your picture.

Once you send the message when you return to the main message in the forums you will see you picture!!!

It is a direct link to the picture you hosted on Photo bucket!

Now be sure to go into the Edit for your picture on Photo bucket if the pic is way too small and reduce the size 50% or 75% so we are not viewing something we have to scroll through!!!!

Hope this helps ya!

And when your dwonloading, downloading 1 at a time is ussually faster. but you can select to download up to 10 or 15 pics at a shot.

*** When downloading, DO NOT Do, OR OPEN ANYTHING ELSE< YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR DOWNLOAD AND HAVE TO START OVER!!!!

Mike

Oh to post multiple pics in one message. just press return or space bar after you right click on the NESR message box and paste. Then go back to photo bucket right click and copy the bottom address from another picture, go back to the other open NESR page and right click and paste underneath the other picture address you already posted!

You can even add text in between each address to tell your story, just be sure to leave a space around your photo link address or it will not work!!!
