Mike, it's great to hear from a Marine. I don't think America as a whole can thank you enough for what you guys do and what you put on the line day in and day out.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Soldiers are Army

Ive got some great emails from your community!

What we do. I'm in a Squadron of about 750 Marines who fix all the air craft in Iraq, that is Marine Aircraft. Mostly our buisness are Hellicopters, however we have several squadrons of F/A-18, C-130, and Whatever else that flies we repair that also.

I invite you all to ask any question you want. I will tell you what its like over here.

This is a link to our web page, check it out.

The feeling is mutual! We are in debt indefinitely to you and all the men and women in our armed forces for allowing us to live free in this great country of ours.

Nikon, thanks again for setting this up. :kickass:

Yikes. Please accept my apologies.

Thanks for the pics, and more importantly, for your service.

Hey NESR folks - when are we sending another package to our new site member & his fellow Marines?

I think this is an appropriate thread to return to the forum on. I've been gone all summer.....Ft. Sill, OK. I just finished basic training. Ssgt Murrell, thanks for doing what you're doing. I'm in an aviation unit as well....going in as a blackhawk mechanic/crew chief, then ROTC through college and flight school. My unit is leaving for Iraq this month, in fact 50 are going next week. I can't go because i'm split-op...i have to finish high school and AIT first. I'm lucky, but it kinda sucks seeing friends go when you can't. Thanks again for what you do and come home soon.

P.S.- Whats up guys?

Ft. Sill

I went through Ft. Sill in March of 87. It sounds like a long time ago but I can still feel the coldness of those fields when I was in artillary training school.
