BTW there is no gasket in that exhuast connection. It is an odd fluted joint. And obviously needs some modification! The temp fix I thought of and Joel actually grabbed for me worked nicely!

bigred - have you gone back to the scene to observe what could have possibly caused such a horrific incident? maybe there was dirt or something under one of those rocks maybe...

Whatever it is, I am sure it is interterrestrial in nature and an anomaly of freakdom that could have only existed at exactly that point in the space and time continuum. It sucks you had to find it the hard way, zillions of people ride in the dirt everyday and none of them crash.

I am still so amazed to see this. Please post your results as soon as you have them so others can avoid whatever potential hazard you did encounter.

This is a terrible shame, awful, I'm outraged or something.

thank you somestrangeguy your concern is heart warming.. as for the scene of the incident.. alas I was not a victim of my environment..I was a victim of a 6' 250lb guy riding a dirt bike built for an 8 year old...

i ate shit in the same fashion at the other end of my yard
