almost forgot to mention what happened todaythis fuckin mid age guy in a minivan with all his crap stuffed inside with 2 kids in front. the light was red and three cars in front of me. as i glanced at the mirror, he was approaching my rear slowly. i thought he would stop. he keeps coming and coming slowly and bam, his bumper was on my rear tire. yes ON my rear tire. good thing none of the plastic touched. all i can do was shaking my head and continued on. nothing was damage. how do you deal with this thing? almost forgot to mention what happened todayHonestly, I would have pulled a Mcbgti and scared the hell out of the guy a little bit. Don't know what I would have said but something about the safety of others and the safety of his small children. It would have been the old, "motorcycles are eveywhere" speech but would have been worth it to embarrass him and his children. He could have seriously hurt you and I'm glad you and your bike are ok. |

almost forgot to mention what happened todaythe only problem i see here is that motorcycle tires dont take impact too well. they arent like car tires (up to like 10 ply) bikes are mre like 2 ply. very thin and very easy to damage cords inside, no one wants a tire coming apart at 80mpfh. i guess it really depends on how hard it hit. im assuming not that hard since you didnt fall. but insurance info would have been good, then you just make a claim on a new rear tire or have him pay out pocket. people these days dont learn unless you hit them where it hurts............ their wallet. |
