I just bought this last night and watched it. Awesome movie. I may think so more than others seeing I have driven tha BAJA and seen some of the same places these guys have raced and experienced exactly what it's like to due this coarse! During the moie I recognized a few places I was lucky enough to drive through, I even have pictures showing the same locations. Very Cool!!
Added bonus in the movie is the famous racers staring along side of the mom and pop teams running the race as well! Robbie Gordon, Mike (Mouse) McCoy, Mario Andretti. A few Dirt Racers some of you may recongnize from Team Honda & KTM.
If anybody has an interest in any kind of Motor Sports you will like this movie!
If anybody is interested I could host another movie night at my place and follow it with a poker game or hit a local pub for some

I also have the Wide Open Baja DVD that shows the trip I took last October. Maybe I can convince a couple of you people to go back down with me to do it again! Best trip i have even done in my life! I am not sure if I could ever be able to top it? But I am sure the heck going to try!
The Write up..
The highly anticipated film directed by Dana Brown. A documentary on the Baja 1000, an annual off-road race held in Baja, Mexico that attracts hundreds of racers, their souped-up machines, and thousands of fans. With a wide variety of different vehicles competing -- from modified trucks to stock Volkswagens -- Dust to Glory takes viewers into the middle of the race, with camera crews following in the action while several drivers race with cameras mounted to their cars for a "you are there" perspective. Dust to Glory also puts a special focus on driver Mike "Mouse" McCoy, who hopes to achieve a unique distinction as one of the first drivers to drive the entire one-thousand-mile course by himself (most vehicles employ a team of drivers for the long and demanding race). Dust to Glory director Dana Brown is the son of Bruce Brown, director of such legendary sports films as The Endless Summer and On Any Sunday.
