So who was at the huge bike ride yesterday in Salem? That town was vrooming the streets with hundreds of bikes!! Was there yesterday with my daughters, we walked the streets, in and out of little stores, visited the wax museum and the haunted house....or whatever they call haunted house anyway (walking in a big dark room having people dressed in black jumping of you is soooo scarry even my 5 yrs old was telling them they were not scarry), so we had fun, BUT....took me 2 hours to get there, and it took me 4 1/2 hours to come back home! Just to get out of Salem took about an hour and half, and then as I thought we were out of it, traffic jammed on the Masspike a few miles before exit 11, and it was like that for miles to no end. I had to take exit 11 after being stopped for over half an hour, jumped on route 20 for a while, and got back on masspike. Later in Springfield, the toll booth guy told me there was an accident on the Mpike. Grrr...

it was estimated over 4k bikers on Sunday afternoon. traffic in city of Lynn was paralyz for hrs when they rolled thru. i was zipping thru that area and caught the last part of it. what a scene.
