Got a serious question. What does it take to become part of a sponsored track team. In other words, a decent paying gig as a side man, tech, racer, etc....anything?? Schooling? Contacts? experience? I know this is a border line pipe dream question. Just curious. Thanks

I think you just have to tell the coach your interested, then show up for try outs after school?

Did you say decent money?

I think most people working at the race track make like $7/hr. Some have said they haven't had a raise in years. But if you find a job that pays gas, tires and race fees....I'll take it!

The man they call Weedracer works for Hooters Racing in some capacity. I think he just travels around the country in a big truck and bangs Hooters chicks at will. Not a bad gig if you like motorcycles and boobies. I wish you luck in all your future endeavors.
