OreoGaborio: there's two locks on the back door
OreoGaborio: i have a key for one of em.... but some ASSHAT locked the other one
OreoGaborio: no one's home
OreoGaborio: i call my roommate joey
OreoGaborio: i call my roommate steve
OreoGaborio: i call my roommate suneil
OreoGaborio: three times each

bridgesandknives: so.

OreoGaborio: so I go to the front door (to which i have no keys for), ring the buzzer.. no answer... Fuckit... finally I crawled through a window out front, all pissed off cuz it's been three months now since Suneil said he's gonna get me MY front door keys back (i gave him my set cuz we didn't have any others to give him) and some asshat locked the back door the wrong way... turns out it was my roommate Steve. (if you know Steve, you'd know no-one can stay mad at him)
OreoGaborio: So i'm watchin TV... knock at the back door
OreoGaborio: i'm pissed, can't tell who it is, so i throw the door open & start walk away, figuring it's someone i know
OreoGaborio: i hear "can you step outside please?"
OreoGaborio: I look... it's the cops... i'm like 'oh you gotta be JOKING!" they grab me, pull me out & put my arm behind my back.

bridgesandknives: what!

OreoGaborio: yeah
OreoGaborio: well... as far as they're concerned i'm a burglar, i didn't mind too much.

OreoGaborio: So they start grilling me, etc... but the see how i'm dressed, button down shirt, friggin slippers on my feet, see i'm cooperative, giving them all the right answers & they relax a little
OreoGaborio: ... couldn't.... fucking... believe it
OreoGaborio: they bring me back inside, one goes upstairs & lets two more of Boston's finest in the front door so now there's 4 cops & me... standing in my living room.

OreoGaborio: they start grilling me, askin me questions again... one said "show me something in this appartment w/ your name on it"
OreoGaborio: know what I said?
OreoGaborio: "OK, GO CHECK THE BIRTHDAY CARDS UPSTAIRS ON MY BED"... cops said "It's your birthday?" I said "Yeah... in about ohh, 20 minutes"... they checked... cops came back down, said "happy birthday, next time use the front door"
OreoGaborio: "Woulda if I coulda, sir! Have a good night."

... unbelievable.


*Note: About 1/2 an hour ago my roommate Suneil came home & we got in a massive argument cuz he's got my front door keys... long story short, he's making himself copies of my keys tomorrow so I can finally get them back.... I'm considering that his b-day present to me.... Happy b-day to me
