Goodbye....

Well, I had the last ride on the TL last nite. It was a fun bike. But now I have nothing. I'm so sad. It's like losing a child...

That being said, gotta figure out if I want a TLR or TLS. I rode this one guy's bike yesterday that I know (and may potentially get), but it needed a remap badly, which is minor. My bike seemed to have more low end torque, while his was more high end. Almost wasn't even like riding a twin. So, all you TL kids here, tell me what you think.

In my opinion, the 'R' gives ya the best of both worlds. You get that V-twin grunt that everyone loves, but the thing lives to be revved like an inline four. Yeah, the 'R' is 'peaky'. But with the right map loaded ya can smooth it right out...

Understandably, the ergos on the 'S' are A BIT more relaxed than on the 'R'. But I don't know if I'd go so far as to say it's much more comfy than it...

If I hadta do it all over again, I'd still get ridda my Superhawk and get the Tiller...

hey Cameron, i'm sorry man. i feel your pain.

hey after riding TLRman's i can't imagine having any more torque at the low end. That thing had mad crazy power all over the fucking place. but i have not ridden a TLS to compare against.

So the debate continues.

I got the "S" 'cuz I don't groove on all the plastic. If you dig plastic go for the "R". I give the same respect to either 'Zuki super-sport V-twin! This doesn't help you @ all does it...

I've heard from several people that the R surprisingly has the less aggressive seating position (less of a reach to the bars mainly), and I personally found the R to be less racy for my lanky ass. *shrug* I dunno, they're both about dead even for street use as far as usable performance goes.

Yeah, I actually swapped some TLR clip ons on the bike and surprise, I liked them a lot more. Was actually more comfortable when just cruising on the freeway and stuff.
