Since my fiance(angie) is taking time off, we are trying to organize her benefits for the next 16 weeks..

She worked in rhode island for "03"-1/2 of "05".(employer relocated to MA).. is she elgibile for TDI in rhode island?.. she paid into it for over two tears and never used it?..It would help out alot while she is on maternity leave.. Her current employer will only pay after she is out for more than 60 days.. maybe I can rob a bank?..

I forgot the ratio of hours worked vs time you can collect. TDI is the same as unemployment insurance in RI and I think if you work 4-6 months in a year, you will have up to 23 weeks of TDI/unemployment coverage

I hope we can get SOME kind of TDI.. Good news is we are closing on the sale of a house on the 3rd, so we will have a little cash to fall back on..thanks god!
