Crap, the TV died

Looks like I need some serious help.

No sound from the idiot box. Was working fine one minute, then no sound. Anychance this thing will just fix itself? CSPAN just isnt the same without the background noise of angry Canadian politicians.

Was it a fluke or did you change something on a deeply hidden menu by mistake?

I thought it may have been the mute function so I looked up in the manual and turned it off. No change.

So I proceeded with the following technique.

1. Turn it on
2. Turn it off
3. Turn it on
4. Sit and stare at the screen with no volume
5. Ate some chips while I watched the news with no volume and no text either!
6. Posted that the tv may have died.
7. Checked prices on new TV's and decided I better get the thing fixed.
8. Hooked up the VCR and then unhooked it, did the same with the Xbox.
9. ate a few chips
10. Turned it on and off 2 more times and then kicked it
11. Ate more chips
12. Turned it on and it was working.

Have not turned it off since. Im going to just leave it on I think.

Crap, the TV died

I wish that worked for me.
My TV is still out of whack,
It's as if someone turned of the Black

Everything has a red tint now, even the screen
when in between broadcasts is maroon/red, not black

36" tube tv, about a year old
What to do, what to do?

HELP

its like that episode of Friends when Joey and Chandler start getting free porn on their TV and they are afraid to turn it off for fear that it may go away

Yes. Actually I was kidding, just as I was kidding with the prior comments.
