I'd check the stores. Tell the salesman you're looking for something along the lazer jet line, I'd recommend you get something that can handle up to 13 X 19.

good luck getting a cheap laserjet that prints 13x19

most do 11x17 and at that point cost a small fortune.

check out the phaser 7400 its an LED printer.. starts at 3000, and the phaser 7750, starts at about 6000....

what exactly do you intend to do?

Yes thats what I figured, my boss prints ton's of standard 8.5 x 11 but once a month prints abnout 200 13x19. I tried to explain she would need a $50000 printer for that but to no avail.

200 is still well with in the workload of a inkjet

the 7400 has a monthly duty cycle of something like 150k sheets a month.

What's the life span of a campus flyer anyway?

Lifespan of Campus flyer in Acedemic buildings is 2+ weeks. In Res Halls it is 1 week tops. However being that I work in Career Services, outside companies don't put up with ghetto to have their names on flyers.

If you can print 11 x 17, what about a white or other color border around it to make it take up the 13" needed?

Otherwise print the file to Kinkos or Staples for a run of copies..........

kinkos and the like wont be able to do full bleed on anything that size, and for what they charge.. you mine as well lease something. if you need short run stuff... try

they will all turn around short run stuff, offer next day hard copy proofs etc. i have used all 3 in the past.
