Quick nerd questionIf it was me, I would opt for NTFS (Windows NT file system). FAT 32 if I was doing Windows 98. YMMV |

Quick nerd questionLast I knew the NTfile system only supported 2.5 gig (nt 4.0). NTFS is easier to remotely administer, other than that, no real advantage that I've seen. |

Quick nerd questionThis is just my experience with Fatxx format....I had Win2k installed with Fat32 and every time it crashed (I was testing something that was crashing it) it would run scandisk and find problems, but not be able to fix them. NTFS has almost never done that to me after a crash, and when chkdsk finds a problem it FIXES the fucking thing rather than asking you if you want to save or discard the data. NTFS gets my vote hands down. |
