Snowboard bindings this afternoon. "Doh!" Cracked the base plate clean in half.

Got some new bling-bling ones though.

I'm hanging out up in Lincoln, NH all week. It's not too bad out there at all.

Broke my...

Wear and tear... it was 5 years old. I haven't snowboarded that much but I think due to bad form I was putting way too much stress on the rear binding.

Basically I haven't been bending my knees enough, and my boots are a little too loose, and to compensate I had been pushing very hard on the board with my toes. I took a private lesson today and learned a lot.

Now it makes me want new boots though. I wish there was a way to just add a buckle to the top of the boot, that'd probably do it for me.

I am supposed to work at WV this weekend both days but given the forecast that may change.

Oh Yeah, I replace my bindings every other year and boots and boards alternating every other year as well.

However, I ride about 50+ days a year.

Oh how I miss those days. Logged over 60 days on snow for 5 straight years and then reality set in and ruined it for me.

I've been meaning to go to waterville sometime this week, maybe I'll make it there saturday.

I'm staying at loon and it's been way to easy to just roll out of bed, out the door, and slide 50ft over to the lift.
