Question

court procedure

got a question. i had a court date last friday for trial. i received a letter from my lawyer thursday night saying she reschedule to the 24th due to operations she had to be in hospital that day.

i still couldn't get a hold of her.

do i have to be in court for this reschedule? and if i didn't will be found at fault?

If your attorney sent you a letter, then he already filed a "continuance" and you should not have to appear for the original date.
