Church?

Does anyone from the Waltham / Watertown area go to church in the area? Can you reccommend a good one.

I am Catholic but am open to other places to worship.

Thanks

If you like a large interdenominational type church there is one in Lexington called Grace Chapel on Worthen Rd.

I used to go there when I was in High School and college.

Church?

If you want, I throw the crucifix/symbol of your choice on my wall, pass around a bucket for you to put your money in and give to me, and tell you some lies....

My 7yr old son comes up to me last week and wants to know why a priest got arrested for fondling little boys? This is a sick world we live in.

Just my .02$ and am not trying to rag on anyone's religion.

Not sure if it's already done but the Catholic Church I went to a couple times in Waltham is either closed now or slated to be closed.

That whole thing with the "Not enough money to pay off molestation victims + church bills + no one in the pews donating money."

The place was absolutely deserted when I went so no surprise I guess.

They'res a church down the road that borders Route 2. It's the one my grandmother and her boyfriend went to. I'm not a churchgoer but it I was there for the funeral, and it was a nice place.

Thanks guys.

I'm not a bible thumper, nor do I push my faith on anyone. While I was raised Catholic I sorta have my own faith built around what I believe to be true.

All I can say is that my faith has carried me through some very, very hard times in my life and while I pray every day (as I think most of us do) its nice to pay homage once in a while.

The pastor of the chuch Hessogood mentioned along Rt. 2 in Arlington married my sister & her husband... he's a friend of the family and he's pretty nice.

Lots of funny sermons, etc.. he was the pastor down in Franklin when I was growing up.
