Auto Inspection - NH

I have 45% tint on my front windows. I need my car inspected and no one will pass me based on the tint. I don't want to take it off... anyone have a hook up?

I'm surprised you haven't gotten a ticket for the tint yet. NH police are usually a-holes about front window tint, especially with NH registered vehicles.

Unfortunately, I have no hook-ups, but my suggestion would be to remove the tint if possible to avoid any problems with the po-po. Good luck

www.granitestatecc.com

This is where I always got my truck inspected with tinted windows. That was until the cops made me take it off They may not have issue with the tint, but it has been a year or so since I had tinted windows.

like I said, it's really light.... 45%. It actually passed last year because it's barely noticeable with the sunroof open. I live right over the line and drive in MA all day anyway.

If the cops do notice they're going to give you a ticket. And if I remember from my experience it's a moving violation, so points on your license and insurance.

I had some dark tint on my truck for a while... until one rather unpleasant LEO pulled me over.

Wait until a warm day... roll the windows down and go for your inspection.

That's odd... I have lived in NH for 3 years with 35% tint on my car and have never been bugged for it by the police... took a bit of doing to get it through inspection, I used Mieneke on route 1 in portsmouth. Bunch of kids running it, I just went in and started BSing about cars with them and the next thing I knew they rolled it out with a sticker.

I had the tint on Man Gods truck for 3 1/2 years with no problem, until a cop with nothing better to do pulled me over about 8 months ago and said take it off or pay $150.00 fine. Needless to say, no more tint.
