| Pre-Hung Interior Doors... i just put 10 of them in... very easy. I'd like to offer some suggestions....
Split the jambs. Keep the door on one. When installing, start with the door side jamb and keep the door shut. Keep the plastic piece that holds the jamb/door together and make sure it isn't too tight. If it's tight, the door may rub. Make sure the space all the way around the door is even and then pin the casings to the wall. Once the casing is pinned, you can open the door and add shims from the back side. Snugg up the casings and nail the jamb into place. Insert the second half of the jamb, and pin those casings in. It's literally that easy. The biggest mistake I made was taking the door off and trying to install the jambs using levels and shit. Big mess. If you keep the whole door / jamb together, it's simple. If the door is shut, and the spaces are even, the whole unit should be all set.
Make sure your casings are flat against the wall before pinning. If you have spaces, the bottom of the door will be off when opening.... causing the door edge to rub on the floor. Make sure you're even top / bottom.
Good Luck!!
