I went to the gun shop to pick up my AK-47. (Rhode Island has this ridiculous 7 day cool down period.) So my 7 days were up. I went there looked at a couple other guns and decided to pick up another SKS also. Thats all well and good I will just add it to my previous paper work, NO problem.

No problem? Oh wait there is 1 small problem. The paper work I filled out last week was for a pistol / revolver and I was purchasing a long gun. They can't let me take the gun and I have to fill out all new paper work and WAIT another 7 days. So since I'm filling out new paperwork I'm in there longer. While I'm there an off work employee comes in and sees what I'm buying so he proceeded to show me a very nice Chinese SKS Paratrooper. I said it was nice , but the Yugoslavian SKS I was buying has the grenade launcher and they dont come around like that very often. He agreed and said the paratroopers don't either. SO anyways I bought that one too. I still have to wait the 7 fricken days.

The paper work Was an honest mistake on their part the only difference between the two is the words Pistol / revolver in place of long gun / shotgun In 1 place. To make it up to me they gave me 150 - 7.62 x 39 rounds. he also said when I come in to pick them up he would try to get me some more ammo. I just put them with the couple thousand I already have. I'm sick I tells ya sick

Last shotgun I bought, I only needed proof that I was over 18. Bought it at K-mart (Mossberg 12 gauge combo with composite stock & grips)...

I know, I lived in NH for 30 years. If my job was just a little closer I would move back in a heartbeat. I'm an hour and a half from Nashua without traffic and I consider it , but it's just a little far. I miss paying and walking out the door with my new guns. The 7 day wait is because even though you pass the FBI's background check , the local police department also does a background check and can deny you if they feel fit to do so. It's not even the police where you live it's the police where you buy the firearm.

SKS's are a freaking blast to shoot. Especially with 30 round clips.

I bought them too big and now I fit into them.

Lookin to be right around Concord but will travel to shoot.

I went shooting today. It was fun. Only way to make myself feel better after the weekends I've been having at work. I hate this place. I brought my daughter today. She didn't shoot - she's 7 months. Noise didn't bother her - had muffs on the ears but it was a bit chilly so wifey took her to the car. I like shooting things. My new little S&W is awesome - right on center. I am blabbering now cause I am at work and bored and need something to do. Maybe I'll play that zombie killing game. THat ones fun.

I went Friday night and shot my .45 at the indoor range. Then I went shooting my .45 outdoors Saturday and today I shot the AR-15. I only when through 4 or 5 hundred rounds. I just took a break from reloading more ammo. I only have 10 or 15 thousand , left I'm getting low

I havent reloaded shit in years. Time to start reloading for the 357.
My son and I usually use the Ruger 10/22. He likes blasing away with the pistols too.
Just to lazy to go today after riding for a few hours.
We should have a NESR shooting session.

Seriuosly would you guys like to try and arrange a NESR shooting event , we could probably hold it at my club in Peterbrough NH so no one would have to pissaround with Mass gun laws.

You can transport firearms through Mass If you are going to a range, shoot, or back to your home. I can drive through from Rhode Island and they have no Legal recourse. They will tell you they do but the BATF says otherwise.
