Nah rochester is about 5 hrs from me. Yeh the sr20 has been real fun. Even stock, the motor has lots of torque for a little four banger.

very cool rig, i've heard lots of good things about the power of the sc'd taco's. good call on the 5-speed to. i like the last gen taco's ALOT more than the new one's.

look out for clayton (the iglu) he's the nesr yota nut. he'll try to get you to off-road it.

You best wheel it!!!!!

Mine is an '01, same color, trd, the better BLACK fender flares.

Just did my powers steering pump in it over the weekend. 107,000 miles and counting.

I wish I had the SC. Instead I bought another bike and a Samurai.

The SC is awesome. Not noticable at idle but a very addicting whine when you are on it. Not sure if I'd drop $3k on the mod myself but I pretty much got everything for free.

Need to find some beginners trails around me.

$3 grand? You must be shopping someplace very expensive. You can get them brand new with factory warranty from toyota for $1800....

Unless you go with the 7th injector kit which adds another $800 or so to the price. But don't do that! Get the URD kit to accent your HP and make your engine stop running dangerously lean!

Seriously, it's borderline damaging to run a SC without proper fuel mods. Toyota even admitted it for this particular SC. They released the 7th injector kit as a band aid, but it still doesn't cure the problem, just masks it.

See here for info and allthe goodies to make it fast AND run proper:

Or hows bout you sell me that SC for a grand and make me a happy SOB???

The 3 grand I was figuring included the URD kit and a decent exhaust. My truck already has the URD and it feels like its tuned in pretty good. I will prob get in and check out the tune with my laptop soon as I get a chance.
