My friend is a firefighter in Concord, he had a pretty shitty day rescuing people from their flooded basements.

another reason not to live or build a business near a river or on flat... New Orlampshire.... there is a reason why the government designates 100 year flood plain designs.

Just think this wasn't even a hundred year flood.

I was out taking pictures of floods, when my boss called and told me not to bother coming to work because we were closed, so I went down to see just how bad it was. The other pics were things that reiobard and I went to see on Sunday night, but it was too dark to get pics. I don't even know if I can go back to work today.

here's a nice little pond infront of the building i work at in waltham. nothing like what you got in concord, but that portion of the road is closed because of it.

Shit... didn't think anything was flooded in Waltham.

I purposely went out last night looking for stuff to take pictures of and the Charles didn't look particularly high at all... high, and the dam/waterfall over on moody st. was going full tilt but nowhere close to flooding.

So is that just a little valley/depression over on waverly oaks that didn't drain properly or is that river flooding?

i'm not really sure what's back there behind those trees to be honest.. but i can definitely say that being in the valley on this road is part of the reason of the flooding.
