Ever had a Black Summer

I am not sure what people are calling this if anything? But I starting drinking this mix a few weeks ago after a bartender suggested it to a friend of mine. Somebody came apon a fantastic mix!!!!!
I am calling it a Black Summer!

This is by far the smoothest Guinness mix I have ever had! This was my first attempt of making these at home with the Co2 Cartridge can to give it the draft freshness!
It's not perfectly half and half but you can never go wrong with too much Guiness!

Ever had a Black Summer

I had a great Guinness mix last year up at Strange Brew in Manchester NH. They called it a Black and Blue. Guinness on top of a blueberry ale. Very tasty

Had that also! Not too shabby.
Guiness and Harp is alright.
Also while in MD I had a Yueling and Guiness! That was very tasty. The bartender looked at me like I had two heads when I ordered it.. She said : A WHAT ?"

Time to try something else!

I have Wachusett Country and Harpoon Hibernian ( Irish Red ) to mix with some more Guiness! I have the second of the Black summers to finish off first! This didn't mix as good, but still tastes fucking awesome!

I will keep ya posted!

That's because it's customary to order a yuengling premium + porter combination for half and halfs...or just order a draft of black and tan, yuengling has already taken the work out of it for you

Guinness is good stuff but I prefer porters over stouts in my half and halfs, summer ale sounds like a good choice for the light half though, that's good shit right there...

I'm going to throw "yet another way to ruin a great dark beer" out there:

Black Fog:
Guiness with a shot of Chambord mixed in.

We typically mix our Black Shack Porter with either IPA or Monsta. It doesn't stay seperate since the gravities are too close but it does taste damn good.

We also do a Black and Blue.

I dared a friend of mine to try a black and white in a drunken haze once. We proceeded to pour a mix of Guiness and milk for him................................. He proceeded to puke. Then we proceeded to laugh.
