So I went to court today. For those that didn't read my other thread....let's review. I got busted doing 70 in a 35 and was given a summons to appear in court. So I was nervous as hell this morning when I was heading to court. Get in there...no prob.
Court guy:"70 in a 35 eh? Should be a $200 plus fine. Do you have anything to say?".
Me: "No sir".
Him: "Do you want to get out of having this on your record?"
Me: "Absolutely!"
Him: "Donate $150 to the Network Against Domestic Abuse and bring me the receipt."
Me: "Yes sir!!"

The court has an office with an advocate for this domestic abuse place but the person wasn't in today. So, off to their office in town I headed. About 20 minutes later I'm back in court with the receipt.

Him: "You're all set."

I fucking rock!

Ummm, not to nit-pick here... It might help your case out if you show up on the right date...
