Tonight is the peak of the Perseid Meteor shower...

From 6 -> 9 PM tonight is supposedly the best time, but it should be good into the late night. The peak is supposed to be 50-60/hr.

I watched the last two nights, I only saw about 5-10 though. One was really sweet, it left a trail across the sky for a second. (Probably a ninja meteor)

I might try to ride out somewhere dark tonight.

What the hell are you talking about, its still light out then! Are you sure you don't mean from 2:0 am to 4:00 is the peak like the rest of the news media has been reporting.

I guess 6-9 is when the most of them hit, but yeah, they'll be hard to see.

Smoking's not the problem, it's the solution. I've tried finding 'em when I was totally straight too, but nope. Must be all those bright lights around me that's hindering my viewing...
