Had he read the emergency instruction card in the seat pouch in front of him, he would have realized that the emergency exits open inward. The pressure in the cabin while the plane is at cruising altitude keeps the door sealed shut and is nearly imposible for a single person to open.

I think if terrorists are guaranteed a good, old-fashioned, all American ass kicking, they'll keep their fucking box cutters in their pocket.

I hate to say this, but when I get on an airplane now, I take note of anyone who is of Middle Eastern decent, or just looks shady. I pay attention to where they sit, how they act, etc. Those motherfuckers give me half a reason, and I will stomp their guts all over the aisleway. I hate to be like that, but these days, its a matter of survival.
