I work doing legal representation for crazy kids in state custody.

This girl didnt want to go with her social worker to her new foster home placement. She refused to get in the car. The police were called. She said ok. The cops left. She refused, again. The police came back. She said ok, again. She got in the car with the social worker and left. Two miles later, she removed her in-use tampon and began to smack the social worker in the face with it (while she was diving the car). The police were called from the side of the road. The girl was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon. When she got the station, she apparently asked a female officer if she had any extra sanitary napkins.

I'd say it's a dangerous weapon.

I know what you're saying, but it needs to be "exchange" of body fluids...so chances are slim to contract the disease just by being smacked with a tampon. I see why they still have to consider it "dangerous weapon" tho...

wtf do you mean "exchange"... are you saying i have to give you some of my blood for some of your blood for you to give me Canadian Bacon sized Herpes sores?

no... you get hit in the face w/ a tampon covered in a bodily fluid that is contaminated w/ anything & you can get whatever it is that's in there if it gets into your system. People's faces are packed full of ways for shit like that to get into your system. Eyes, nose, mouth even ears are full of places for a desease to get into your body.

Yeah well OK then. I guess I should get the facts and read about this. I've heard many people say that for exemple, you cannot contract AIDS and other diseases by kissing someone (read: french kissing/exchange of saliva). So it seems some body fluids can indeed infect you if they are exchanged, and some other fluids (saliva) cannot. *scratches head* So we all know you contract the disease when blood touches blood. What about when blood comes in contact with skin (no open wounds), saliva/saliva or blood/saliva, etc. Speaking of body fluids, I don't think urine is contaminated with a disease like AIDS either.

All I know is that if I was hit int he face with someone's used tampon I would first throw up, second wonder what the FUCK just happened, third take a really hot shower so as to burn my skin off, and fourth, get myself to the nearest hospital and get checked for every disease under the sun.
