Texas Roadhouse

So my padooks took me and the woman out to dinner for my b-day saturday night. We headed up to Texas Roadhouse in Nashua.

What a sweet deal. It's like outback but the steaks are GOOD! Free peanuts (shells you drop on the floor). I picked my steak from the glass counter before being seated. I said "I want that one right there", they put my ticket on it and away it went to be cooked for me. YUM. I got a 22oz bone-in ribeye (those are my absolute favorites) and it was cooked to perfection. No extra seasoning to ruin the flavor other than salt and pepper.

I was impressed with the steak ability they had goin on there. I'll be going there again. For the money ($19 being the priciest steak there) you sure do get a decent cut-a-beef.

Mmmmmm, ribeye....i want another right now......

Anyone know of any other 'reasonably' priced steakhouses?

32 ounce ribeyes are GREAT. They're a little more than $19, but still worth it.

the prime rib is good, and they will cut it to any size, also the killer ribs are a great way to start.... only 2 real down sides to the place, the annoying music and the lack of quaility side dishes

Roadhouse is among my least favorite along Amherst st. I can't stand how they dance to country music every frickin ten minutes. Loud.

Got really sick from eating there once too so that doesnt really help my cause of enjoying myself.

The buttered buns are bomb tho

Heading to 99's tonight. They da bomb too.

I've been in Lynchburg VA for the past 2 weeks providing engineering support for some of our equipment that is being shock tested and low and behold they have a Texas Roadhouse. I'm partial to their country fried steak with a loaded sweet potato and a caesar salad.

I figured they would carry some sort of local beer but that isn't the case which is too bad because I like to try the local flavors. They at least had Sam Adams Lager so I didn't have to drink any of our watered down domestics.

If you guys want an absolute increadible steak but you can't mind paying a little more. I HIGHLY recommened the 111 Chop House in Worcester on Shrewsbury St. This is by far the best steak I have ever had!

Pretty sure If you don't make a reservation you will be waiting almost 2 hours on a weekend night.

Shrewsbury St has a few other very good establishments.
Ex. Anthony's for some good old fashion Italian!

Not sure it's name but there is an very good dessert only cafe just a block up from Anthony's.

Then there is also a martini bar thats rather a classy joint to hang out at.

Thanks for the recommendation I'll check it out.

I've only been to Texas once.. the steak out there was insane. The hotel I was in had better Steak then almost everything I've had here in New England. And that was just the hotel! They had like 10 different steaks on the breakfast menu!

If by "pretty good" you mean better than Ruth's Chris, then I concur.
