car racing

thought i post here. anyone into car racing? i have a neighbor who is looking for a young apprentice to pass on his lagacy. his name is Paul Hermon or Hermen. He's been racing all over most of his life including NASCAR. got couple of race cars and sponsors left. broken numerous bones. for some reason he is a loner. i can't quite figure that out yet. he got back into the old drinking habit. i had to help him into his apartment yesterday because he was so drunk. he's 55 and not able to work anymore. he's also a vietnam vet.

anyone interested let me know.

Is this a pilot script for 4 Fast 4 Furious?

I bet that former NASCAR vietnam veteran alcoholic knows a thing or two about drift racing. Not to mention life, love, and how to get the hot sweet girl who always goes for the bad boys while regaining your parents love and respect and in the end showing your late father that you're not going to follow in his footsteps of self destruction.

Kham, that's a personal attack. One warning is all you get.

Warning? Shit foo, this is the strizeet. You don't get warnings out here. There's only one way to settle this score between us, and that is with an old fashioned drift race up a windy and treacherous mountain path.

December 14th Kham, Route 2. Be there. First one to the top of Mt. Greylock, alive, gets the girl. If you survive. If.

No, punk, I'm calling you out. You and your ricer friends think you're hot shit, with your turbos and your big wings. But let's see how tough you are when your money's where your mouth is. This is for the respect, kid, it's Jap technology against cornfed American Iron. My V8 versus your blown 4. Technology versus good old fashioned elbow grease. It's the clash of the titans, the war of the worlds, the rivalry of traditional american ingenuity versus the new industrial might of the pan-asian empire, good against evil, batman vs superman, you know what I'm saying man, this one's for all the marbles.

i haven't seen the real car but i will this weekend if he's around. he's got a picture of his first race car. not a regular race car. i don't know what it's called.

seems like the real thing. the real NASCAR stuff and not a junkyard 78 camaro. i'll be sure to take some pic.

What is he looking for?

Someone to fill in/help out/etc on weekends when he races? Buy his whole setup? Team partner?

I'd be willing to give my best shot at it. I've grown up racing all sorts of crap and am pretty much happy as pig in shit racing most anything. While I can't imagine I'm anywhere near Scotty or Highsider when it comes to racetrack driving experience or skill, I can learn and would love to be a motorcycle roadracer/car racer/mx racer/enduro racer eventually

Clayton, just watch more tv.....

ESPN. The coverage is excellent, you'd be surprised at how much you can pick up.

Darrell, drop the hammer!

I can verify that this information is true. I once saw Clayton enter a horse race riding a duck, there being a shortage of horses at the time. The duck won, of course, but died shortly after from exhaustion. Clayton vowed that very day that he would never again endager a duck's life by entering it in a horse race, which was a shame really becuase you wouldn't believe the odds on that duck, man you could have cleaned up something serious on that one.
