Just joshing. How about this scenario:

Vinatieri shanks the game-winning field goal, rips off his jersey to reveal a Pats jersey, then runs across to the Pats sideline and jumps into Belichick's arms as Jim Nantz screams "Noooooooooo! Noooooooooo!" and Peyton Manning breaks out a .357 magnum and tries to take out Brady but when he pulls the trigger all the gun does is shoot hot steam right back in his face.

I think NE can pull it off if they get their heads outta their asses the first half of the game. It amazes how incredibly shitty they've been playing, but still pulling it off in the end. I think NE's defense can stand up to their attack, but the offense is gonna hafta strike early then keep the lead. NE's gotta get in the end zone this weekend and force Indy to keep up. That's when Peyton seems to fall apart and make bad choices. However, NE's offense absolutely MUST keep themselves in it for all four quarters or they don't stand a chance...

One thing I certainly DON'T wanna happen is for this to come down to the kickers. They simply cannot let the game get decided by Viniteri...

I say NE by four. Yes, FOUR. But I see the first half being very frustrating for NE fans...

I'm kind of tired of hearing everyone on the radio bashing the Colts, and acting like this should be an easy win. The Colts' defense has been playing incredible, and even though Peyton hasn't been doing great the last couple games, he's still obviously a very good & potentially dangerous QB. That being said, I hope he breaks down and we get a hefty dose of the Manning Face.

Should be a close game, but Bellichick and Brady are a machine.

That's funny, cuz mosta the shit I've heard (all along) has basically counted the Patriots out. And I mean every step of the way. Seems nobody's really givin' 'em a chance. Again...

I'll concede the fact that they've yet to be entirely dominant. But they do seem to do what they need to for the important win...

I'm not sure how the Colt's mediocre defense can keep up the level they've been playing at. Then again, how sloppy can NE's offense be and keep getting away with it?

I heard an Indy sports-tv guy this morning saying how Indy's "defense may wake up and realize it's not that good" this week. Pretty funny...hopefully it rings true tomorrow.

On a national level, the Colts seem to be getting most of the support...I'm saying on the local talk shows/tv, some people are acting like this should be a walk in the park. Either way, none of that shit matters.
