Well today I had my ceremony for my purple heart.....Hopefully this is the only one I get. For those who dont know what happend heres the link to one of the newspapers from back in MA who covered it.

Thank you all for the kind words

I believe I am following in my grandfathers foot steps
When he was a private in the Korean war
He served his first tour with 25th ID and got his purple heart with them
Now so many decades later
I am with 25th ID in Iraq and now I got myself some pruple to pin on

Like they say...

Thats one award you never want
But are very proud to have

6 more months to go!

Me want one of the tacs drop leg - I have the paddle serpa 1st gen and wear it EVERYDAY.
