Aftermarket XM Radio Question

So...I got a Delphi XM Radio with the magnetic antennae for my birthday and I gotta tell ya, this thing kicks ass. But I'm wondering if the antennae will survive the drive through car wash or will it get ripped off? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

All the years i've been using satellite radio i've always used the regular old magnetic mount they always come with and haven't had an issue at all with them not staying put. Though sometimes if you need to remove them, be very careful about it because i've scratched up paint on my car removing it since there was some dirt buildup around it.

Aftermarket XM Radio Question

The Sirius mount on the roof of my van has been there three years now. No issues at all.

+1 for just driving through, dont worry about it. On the truck, I ran the wire for the antenna down behind the door weatherstripping, and every 4th wash or so I need to pull some slack out of the cable on the roof and tuck it back nice and tight in the crevice behind the stripping. Really no biggie though.
