My SE charges between 4-800 per job..I am hoping to find someone here cheaper...!?!?

$400-$800 is cheap for stamped plans. We pay around $2000 for ours and we draw the plans before the engineers get them.

I had to put a lentil in a load bearing wall of a block building this year, and I used a structural eng. in Wemouth, MA. I think even them drawing the plans after I emailed them some dimensions was about 500. The stamp was only like 350 if you brought in plans. Of course, A blank block wall and a dormered house are a little different. I need to think about his name, but I'll shoot you his name and number in the morning if youre interested.

Structural engineers?

$400.00-$800.00

Is not a bad price considering doiing the drawings yourself and save some money, I know a few structural enigineers myself i work with about 4-6 of them. He's going to need more detail than just a domer on the house can you sketch something out with dimensions roof pitch existing and new.

Anyways I'm not sure he would be cheaper but give him a try.
