I just rented Lost Planet for Xbox 360. It's a sweet game but it's also wicked annoying. The bosses have a habit of knocking you on your ass and you can't get up. Also some scenes have so many explosions you can't even see where the enemy is. It's starting to piss me off. I got to the end of level 5 but then had to take a break before I threw the controler through the tv.

Anyone else have it or tried it?

I played the Demo on XBOXlive. The multi player and the single player. I found the multiplayer annoying (Back to Halo) and while the single player was fun.. didn't entice me to buy the full game.

i played it for all about 20mins and been collecting dust since the day it came out.

Decent game but no "wow" factor for me, though i haven't played multi player since i don't have live gold account yet.

Ya I agree with you it's definitely not worth owning. The more I play it the more I get annoyed. I'm playing on Easy too. Maybe I just suck.

G.O.W. is way better.

I've been playing LP off and on....just waiting on Halo 3 to be released. Alot of games seem to be moving away from the local multiplayer option, which I find kinda sad. The only good local multiplayer game I play with my boys is Call of Duty 2.

yea, you're right. Sometimes you just want to have a few friends over and play locally.

I beat it on normal last weekend. I didn't find it particularly hard. (I beat it over the course of 3-4 weeks I think.)

It's old school. If the enemies are knocking you down repeatedly you're just not thinking through how to beat them.

Most of them have a trick/pattern, once you figure it out you beat them very very quickly. The patterns are just a bit harder to figure out then in the old 2D games.

I haven't tried the multiplayer yet. It's going to be a few weeks till I will as I packed up my 360 since I'm moving. It's been a big distraction so good to have it packed away.

The final boss battle was kind of disappointing but I'm not going to spoil it. Overall I just loved the snow world and the Mechs.. a lot of the Mech battles get very cool as the game goes on.

I know what you mean. A lot of it is just finding out what the best weapon to use is. I just beat mission 07.
