I got myself a yellow "Live Strong" powerband.

In order to protect myself from my helmet getting stuck in any cracks, I've decided to not wear one. Even a beanie helmet might snag... my face, however, is nice and soft and will not snag on any cracks.

*shrug*

I'm glad I found this forum before that one... hahaha.

Doh.

I'm glad I started off by taking the class. Easiest way to get started, that's for sure!

+1 on the msf course, why anyone would WANT to go back to the dmv for a licence test instead of spending a weekend riding around on a 250 learning some skills is beyond me. dmv must be the equivialent to the deepest layers of hell but on earth. i avoid that place like the plague

Well, we got ourselves 3 more years that we don't have to share the road with a know-it-all idjit.

IMHO, they should make that DMV test harder ... like ten times harder.

The MSF was a lot of fun and it blew my mind how many bad habits I picked
up over the years.

That's true... and during those 3 years, he can do some reading on sportsbikes.net so he'll be set to go.

(I know, you couldn't even bear to watch it because it was so stupid... [http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum/...r-ducati.html])

Classic quotes from Sportbikes.net

i was just on sb.net and my head hurts

"it would take 600 horses to take a 600. divide 600(horses on the car) by 118(average horses of a 600) and you get 5. because a 600cc is the equivelant of 600 horses on a car. 5 times 10(horses a sports exhaust adds) and you get 50.

so adding a sports exhausts is the equivelant of adding 50 horses to a car. likewise with any upgrade to a 600. times the added horses by 5 and you get the equivelant to what it is to a car. simply adding a sports exhaust and airbox mod gives a 600 the equivelant to 700 horses on a car, give or take.

just something i thought about."
