guy1 looking to buy cheep under armor shirts i have 1 ua that i like but don't want to spend $25 a shirt. any knock offs out there that are cheaper?

guy2 i think ua is $30 here is a link

guy1 yeah thats why i want a cheaper alternative

guy2 why thats only $5 more?

guy1 we must be on different pages. i want a CHEAPER alternative to the $25 ua stuff

guy2 you can look at other places for ua products than the link for $30 i put up

guy2 posts another link for a $25 ua shirt

fortunately other people got the point and started to tell guy1 about CHEAPER ua knock off brands

i just put this in about the HP thing. i think he might be right...

he might be onto something..allbeit inadvertantly or he did a horrible job of explaining himself. check this out...

07 Mustang GT500 (coupe)
wt:3920
HP:500(claimed)
1/4: 12.5 (est.)
wt to power: 7.8:1

99 Civic Si
wt:2265
HP:160
1/4:15.8
wt to power: 14.2:1

06 R6
wt: about 400 (357 dry)
HP: approx 110
1/4: 11.4
wt to power: 3.6:1

now he claims to need 600 HP to beat a 600cc sportbike. he might not be far off.

the Mustang is already within a second of the R6 in 1/4 and its 500HP. with pulleys, x back exhaust, intake, and street slicks ive seen them pull 11.5. so thats 500+ HP with good tires to match the R6

if we take the civic and use math to try and make the power to wt similar to the R6 we would either end up with a 566lb civic with 160hp (3.5:1) or a 2265lb civic with 640hp (3.5:1). i realize that the power to weight isnt the same as the R6 but its pretty close. you can easily add more HP or take off more wt. consequently i added/divided by 4 (you could use 5 but the power :wt would be better than the R6. if a 640HP civic could get the power down i would hope it could beat a R6 or one that weighed 570lbs for that matter.

so....yeah. you could probably beat a 600cc bike with a car but like he said, youre gonna need about 600hp to do it

You will need more than 600HP if Ricky Gadson is on the bike because he ran back to back 9.9 second passes on a lowered but otherwise stock R6. He did something similar on the 636 with a best pass in the 9.8 range.

fair enough. but the 11.4 is a guestimate as i couldnt find solid #s. and if your putting ricky gadson on the bike then John Force is driving the car

are you sure it was an R6? i know he did it on the ZX9.

Holy Crap! What a difference that made! RearRideHeight? - Sportbikes.net

we were having fun joking around w/ them until one of em started taking Oxx seriously.

It's pretty rare that i'll tear into someone... i'll have long drawn out discussions w/ people who often can't see anyone's point but their own because of their tremendous close-minded ignorance, but I rarely tear anyone down over stuff unless they're giving HORRIBLE advice that would create a safety issue.

if you wanna read some posts where someone's ripping into someone, keep an eye out for the moderator ZZRrocket... he's the most pompous, arrogant whiney bitch prick I've ever seen on the internet.

Gadson is silly fast. He has been into the nines on both the 636 and the R6 and has turned some rediculous numbers on the 10R, 12R, and 14.

It helps that he weighs as much as my left thigh.

May 2005 Cycle World is the one with Gadson running a 9.93 on a 2005 R6.

Norman Jackson on a 10R (lowered, down 2 in the front, piped and mapped; stock engine and wheelbase) runs 9.3 with video proof: http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/video/zx10r_nj.wmv

Gadson has taken a lowered 2000 12R with only a Muzzy exhaust (no mapping and stock gearing) to 9.2. With mapping and gearing changes, 9.1 and 9.0 has been seen and extended swing arms puts it into the high 8's on a stock engine.

Gadson put up low 9's on a lowered ZX-14. With a little stretching, pipe, map, and gearing change on a stock engine he was pulling mid 8's. Video - ricky gadson running a 8.51 on new zx14 in atlanta

So I just got back from the poliece station, all because I didn't stop. This guy who I had just met and I went riding and were hitting the twisties, when I see a cop in an SUV come around the bend, a few miles later he was behind me with his lights on, so like the dumbass I am, I ran, just took off, I went from 45 to about 130 in a 25, I just kept running for about 10 miles, and then I get lost cause I was just taking every turn I saw, well apparently the cop called all 6 of the surrounding stations, so another cop with his lights on is comming my way, he locks up his breaks and pulls a U-turn, by this time I was on the side of the road with my jacked and helmet off ready to get fucked, I wait with this cop for about 20 min untill the one that was chasing me got there, I was arrested and read my rights, he told me I was going to county untill wed, and remember its sat, after they towed my bike and all he said since I was cooperative and all he wouldn't take me to jail, so I was thinking good, I'll prob just loose my licence and pay some fines, so I ask him, whats the maximum penalty I will get, he says 7 years in county and a $10,000 fine, I almost shit my fucking pants, I am being charged with wreckless driving, speeding, avaiding arest, indangering the public, and one other that I can't remember, and the guy I was with just got a warning, so the moral of the story is DON'T RUN FROM THE COPS, IT'S NOT WORTH IT, JUST PULL OVER AND TAKE IT LIKE A MAN, BELIEVE ME, I'M 18 YEARS OLD AND NOW AM BEING CHARGED WITH A FELONY AND AM FACING 7 YEARS

SERIOUS control issues. This is the second moderator i've had problems with. The other is just an arrogant whiney prick on a power trip.

Basically, I've been giving people a heads up about NESR that I see are from the area & want to meet people to ride with..... well guess what.... SB.Net isn't the best place to do that. I wrote him a long but polite reply.... stil waiting a response.

... but the guy that sent me that DID all of a sudden become the New England section moderator & made a thread that said "New England Roll Call, lemme know who's in here!" just minutes after he sent that PM to me
