I see nothing wrong with that at all. I think there's something nice about a regional thing.

Oh, did I mention the guy is from PA? Try to explain that one.

Suppose it doesn't really matter who's moderator in a regional forum, but I'd think it'd probably be best to put someone who's got some interest in the area they're moderating, right?

Sounds to me like there is money involved and a lot of it.

That site is infested with ads and sponsors.

it's also infested with almost 80 thousand members, most of which are active members on other forums as well.

Pete, do me a favor and just let it be. Please don't go over there and make it look like NESR is bashing SBN. It's not worth the hassle. If they don't allow people to promote other sites, that's their prerogative. You can quote/link to as many funny threads over there as you want, just don't bother arguing with their mods.

Thanks man.

Unless something really interests me, I've already stopped posting over there all together. Nothing in their rules says I can't say "Hey, i see you're from MA, there's a really good New England forum here (link to NESR) if you wanna check it out"

additionally,I've had a Tony's Track Day banner in my sig for about a year... no issues what so ever. But as soon as the mods get a bug in their ass about "spamming" other forms all hell breaks loose. other people get banned and I start getting nasty PM's from the mods about telling people about NESR and having a TTD banner in my sig that's been there forever. Before I can even respond, it was removed by an admin. Again, nothing in the rules against that.

censorship, corruption of authority and changing the rules to suit them at its finest. Power trips & lies are as abundant as there are usefull posts.

I've been on SB.net for three years now... for the last year or so all I've done is try & help answer questions, give people guidance etc. I've got a number of PM's in my inbox over there thanking me for my help on everthing from suspension to track day advice to gear questions..... basically anything & everything I've leaned on here. Now, because I told a few peple about NESR all of a sudden I'm a "spammer"

forget it... not worth the hassle, like you said.

Bumped just in time for another addition

- Question: "i read here that if you are in a turn fast enough with a certain lean angle and if you let off throttle just a bit you can lowside. why is this?"

Simple enough, right? Here's the FIRST response:

- Answer: "If you let off the throttle in a turn you will NOT lowside. The bike will simply raise ever so gradually as you lose speed."
