Bonus day

This week is bonus week at my company - everybody eagerly waits to see if they get a meeting with their manager scheduled which basically means you are getting a bonus.

I got a meeting request for today at 9:30... oh please let it be a big fat check and not my walking papers, hell, I'll take $20 at this point... went a little overboard buying stuff for the new condo...

That is all.

Nice You gotta love companies that take care of their employees.

I got a little bonus today as well, they handed me the keys to a new 2006 F250 4x4 that had 43 miles on it..I know it's a ford, but I can't complain for the big $0

Ford or not - if my company wanted to give me a car I'd gladly rack up miles on that running around and back and forth to work and save the Evo for weekends and sunny days.

Only one question: Is your company hiring?

I work for Liberty Mutual, IT... they are hiring very aggressively in IT and other areas. Starting next year they are re-doing the way IT gets bonus' since it differs from how the rest of the company is calculated. If we had been under that plan there would have $1mill more in bonus' given out this year.

If you seriously go out to their website and find a job you like, let me know.. if you put me down as referral I get $2g.. hell, I'd even be willing to split that with someone if they get hired
