humanity ain't so bad...

as i was gearing up to go home on wednesday, i couldn't find my key. looked out the window, and my bike was still there, so it hadn't been stolen... musta dropped it on the way in. tore my cube apart to no avail. luckily i had my spare on my "main" keychain, so i just went home.

checked w/ security today, and someone had turned it in.

ps. considering i'm pretty much the only Suzuki in the bike area, it woulda been *real* easy to figure out which bike was mine...

damn!

that's lucky!

of course I came in one day and after about an hour or so a guy walks in and says "somebody own the green Triumph out here"... of course then you get the sinking feeling like oh shit, somebody knocked it over...

so I say "yup, it's mine" he says "here, you left the key in it".

keep in mind my office is next to HMI (habit management institute)...aka the methadone clinic.....

yipes!

I've taken people in the office their keys twice... One with a 996 when I worked at Cisco, and once with a cruiser this summer.

I'll beat myself silly if I ever catch myself doing that.

That is too funny I was holding a nice new Lexus key today that fell a few feet from the car. I was tempted to move the car to the other side of the lot just to fuck with the owner but I didn't. It is his new toy and he probably would have been pissed so I just gave him his key back. Lucky bastard.....

1st mistake: leaving your ignition key in the trunk.

2nd mistake: telling you friend.

LOL
