Looking for good, inexpensive body shop

Damned insurance companies suck!

My wife's 02 Honda Civic got hit in a parking lot a couple weeks ago and the asshat that hit her drove off.

She has damage to the bumper (body covering, not known if any underlying damage) on the driver's side rear corner.

SInce it's a hit and run, we're liable for the $500 deductible. The appraisal came in at $509.40, so she got a check for $9.40 from the insurance company. Well, now we're liable for coming up with the cash for the whole shebang.

Anyone know of any good and decently priced body shops in MA? Preferrable in Worcester county.

I like my guy in Norwich, CT

I don't think a body shop has $500 invoices anymore

You DOn't have to accept that and/or get them to recommend the shop that will abide by there estimate

I didn't plan on it. I'd just sign it over to the body shop once the work was completed and everything settled w/ the insurance co.

My brother in law has a shop on Granite street in Worc next to Linders. Its called Finishline automotive. Ask for Don and tell him Bruce sent you. He wont rip you off and does really good work. I may be even to get you to show him at his house in Douglas if you want.

I know the area. I used to live up in Millbury.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask him to take a look at it. If we didn't have to travel as far to do it (we live in Blackstone and Douglas is a MUCH shorter ride) that'd be great!
