Blame China, they are buying up raw materials at an unheard of rate. Raw copper is up to about $3 a pound.

10ft section of 1.25" copper tubing cost me over $50 and I was forced to buy a large tubing cutter because my existing one was too small. At least I have running water now with a giant pressure tank.

Ball valves, check valves, and fittings for 1.25" tubing aren't cheap either.

A few weeks ago there was a hilarious story about 2 dumb fucks that tried to steal copper wire but they found out the hard way that it was still energized. They rode the lightning straight to hell!

It gives me a nice warm and fuzzy feeling when stupid people kill themselves while committing felonies. I hope their death was slow and painful!
