When I moved to NH, I transfered all of my Comcast services to my new address. My highspeed internet account had 2 email addresses associated with it. The primary one transfered without any issue. The second one has given me all kinds of trouble. I have contacted them by phone at least 3 times and every time they say it will transfer in 72 business hours. So far I still don't have access to my old email address. For shits and giggles I tried the online chat with a tech support shithead. It should be noted that I have proven time and time again that I am authorized to make changes to both accounts but they managed to screw that up too. Here is the transcript of what transpired:

Rich > OK, I can "purge the username" once we have the account holder from the old account call us (has to call) and give us permission to remove it. Then you can add it to your account

Rich > Your name is not on the old account

William > It should have been. I was the one who altered the services there. The bill is also sent care of my name

William > Last week I was on the phone with comcast tech support

William > and was told the account was purged and linked with my current account

Rich > The name on ----------- is not Espinola

William > but that hasn't happened yet

William > It is Jeannette Gear

Rich > Please contact the current account holder and ask him to call us

Rich > That is the owner of the username, and we need Jeannette to call us to provide confirmation that it is OK

William > Can you tell me why the account didn't transfer when I transfered my primary username of xxxxxxxxxx@comcast.net? This should all be detailed in my account history

Rich > It did not transfer because you did not own the old account

Rich > Jeannette owns the account and all associated usernames

Rich > You created a new account'It is not related to the old one

William > That is not true

William > the email I use now is from the old account

William > but it transfered when I moved

These people are some of the most useless I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

And suddenly, I cannot send mail from home anymore, but it works fine if I take the laptop to work. They refuse to help me because I use Outlook 2003...fuckers.

i just went from comcast to verizon for phone and high speed internet. plus they made a deal with direct tv in my area so its all in one. comcast sucks balls

I just lost Speed Vision AKA NASCARTV

I am an ex Adelphia Comcast bought them out.

I look at my bill and call up just ASKING about my real cost for broadband

The DC says Oh my goodness we have been double billing you for basic cable but I will straighten it out and give you a credit.... I say great...I am not a total dumb ass and actually ask if this the digital basic
she says no

Next morning no stations above #100 F*CK

I call them up.....

They say yes she was an idiot....

I say fine reverse what she did.....

They say they DO NOT Have The OLd Adelphia Plan but have
Comcast preferred for the same money

Poof goes Speed Vision and 1 or 2 others

I never had problems with Comcast. I never bothered to use their spam-cluttered email accounts either.
